Chris brings over 18 years of public and private sector experience, including over 13 years in the state legislative and executive branches. Skilled in legislative and administrative procedure, Chris has provided counsel on both budget and policy matters across all issue areas. He has served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Perry, HHS Policy Director for the Offices of Governor and Lt. Governor, Committee Clerk for Rep. Harvey Hilderbran, and Chief of Staff for former Rep. Arlene Wohlgemuth. In the private sector, Chris worked for Accenture, a Global Fortune 500 Company, with the company's public service practice. His service included policy expertise, managing an initiative working with client legal staff to identify and resolve data sharing issues, and overseeing improvements in the processing of public assistance applications. Prior to his time with Accenture, Chris provided policy counsel to other private and public sector clients. As part of his volunteer activities, Chris serves on the board of management for the Texas YMCA Youth and Government.
Doug Doerr brings over 23 years of private sector experience delivering and selling services to the public sector. A catalyst for success in the business development strategy for the government industry, Doug has a wide range of business and technical relationships nationally, resulting in win-win business for his companies and their partners. During his career with Accenture, he sold or delivered work in 24 states and 2 provinces. Doug managed Accenture’s Texas government practice followed by its Human Service practice, growing sales and revenues by over fifty percent. Just prior to leaving Accenture, he ran the sales organization for Accenture’s North America practice with over $700 million in awarded work in 2010. Doug has a long history of successfully closing complex sales, delivering IT projects and creating new offerings and services. For his volunteer activities, Doug currently serves on the board of The Texas Advocacy Project, which provides free legal services statewide to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
